We are seeking an experienced Audio Visual Technician Lead to join our team at Abroad Experience.
This role will involve working in the European Marketing department and reporting to the Tradeshow Manager.
The successful candidate will be responsible for building and testing A/V working stations from system drawings for Tradeshows and demo rooms, as well as supporting the Tradeshow, Product Marketing and Training team with testing working stations prior to events.
Responsibilities:- Building demo stations for sales managers and local offices.
- Setting up and testing working stations locally and on-site at tradeshows and events.
- Assisting the Product Marketing and Training team with documenting changes of working stations in Visio and/or AutoCad.
- Creating operation manuals for users of these systems.
- Keeping A/V equipment up to date with regular firmware and software updates.
- Inspecting and testing returned AV equipment after events.
- Maintaining the stock of expensed AV equipment.
To be successful in this role, you will need a technical background and relevant audio-visual experience, preferably in a rental and staging environment.
- Familiarity with projector and display setup, control systems, and system design.
- Ability to read and update system diagrams and build systems according to these diagrams.
- Open to travel to support tradeshows and events throughout Europe.
- Proficient with basic computer skills and able to work with Microsoft Office.
