iCapital plays a critical role in keeping all Platform environments running smoothly and securely. Our AWS Cloud Engineers work closely with external stakeholders within the business to deliver scalable infrastructure solutions.

Job Description

The Senior Cloud Engineer will lead the development of secure, automated, and scalable AWS infrastructure, applying DevOps principles and cloud networking best practices.

The successful candidate will have experience building EKS clusters, API gateways, Transit Gateway, and other edge and compute services. They will also wear an SRE hat, helping to troubleshoot performance and deployment issues, and improving our monitoring strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement complex, automated infrastructure using AWS services such as EKS, API gateways, and Transit Gateway.
  • Apply DevOps principles to promote collaboration between developers and operations teams.
  • Maintain and enhance self-service tools used internally by developers.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in DevOps or SRE with at least 6 years of AWS experience.
  • Strong Linux OS-level and command-line/scripting knowledge and configuration management principles.
  • Able to code in Python or Ruby is desired.
  • Good written and spoken communication skills.
