About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Developer to join our team in developing and enhancing resilient, highly available microservices. As a key member of our agile team, you will be responsible for transforming product ideas into deployable code using modern technologies and best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Design and build horizontally scalable microservices using Java 17+ and frameworks like Spring Boot, Quarkus, or Micronaut.
- Integrate internal and external systems through synchronous (REST, gRPC) and asynchronous (Kafka) interfaces.
- Manage application data using a Managed Database Service.
- Work with cloud services from AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure.
- Contribute your ideas to improve our development processes.
- Collaborate remotely with an international, agile team in a stable and supportive work environment.
Requirements:
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- Several years of hands-on experience in software development.
- Strong expertise in Java 17+ and frameworks like Spring Boot, Quarkus, or Micronaut.
- Proven experience in designing and building horizontally scalable microservices.
- Solid understanding of multithreading, concurrency management, and JVM performance tuning.
- Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka for stream processing.
- Proficiency in MongoDB and NoSQL schema design.
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes).
- Experience working with hyperscalers like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Comfort working in an agile, remote-first, CI/CD-enabled environment.
