We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
Job Description
As a Converter Control Lead Engineer, you will be part of our development team, responsible for laying out converter requirements, owning converter control design, and performing control software development, testing, and verification. You will also work closely with our Grid team to implement project work and provide field support.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 5+ years of demonstrated experience in the Power Converter Industry with relevant knowledge in converter grid-side control.
- A Master or PhD in Engineering within electronic, control or power electronic.
- Expertise in Master time, DQ0, Sequence, and Phaser domains for 3-phase power systems.
- Ability to decipher grid codes and relate to the above domains.
- Familiarity with simulation environments such as Matlab, Simulink, PLECS, or PSCAD.
- A systematic and theoretical approach, with the ability to evaluate scientific articles and apply them to real-world problems.
