We've come a long way since our humble beginnings as a simple reviews site. Today, we're one of the largest online car-changing destinations in Europe, with over 10m customers using us to buy and sell cars since our inception. Our last year saw significant growth, with nearly £3bn worth of cars bought on site and £1.8bn listed for sale through our Sell My Car service.

In 2024, we made a strategic move by acquiring Autovia, doubling our audience overnight. Together, we now have one of the biggest YouTube channels in the world, with over 1.1 billion annual views, sell 1.2 million print copies of our magazines, and reach over 350 million web users annually.

The Role

The Operations Transformation Associate plays a critical role in driving strategic change and innovation across Carwow's Sell My Car operations. This individual will diagnose opportunities through rigorous analysis and execute step-change initiatives from inception to completion. As part of a dynamic and collaborative team, you will develop strategies and execute large, step-change initiatives that align with Carwow's long-term goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis to assess opportunities, size potential benefits, and outline risks of initiatives.
  • Opportunity Identification: Identify major opportunities representing a step-change in current Operations, ensuring processes are both scalable and cost-efficient.
  • Initiative Execution & Programme Management: Design and execute cross-functional and operations-specific initiatives from inception to completion.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate analysis-driven insights to ensure understanding and alignment from various stakeholders and drive decision-making.
  • Process Foundations: Establish and maintain robust process foundations, documenting and analyzing processes to understand their strengths and weaknesses and identify growth opportunities.
  • 3rd Party Management: Undertake comprehensive partner selection processes where required, negotiating agreements that align with Carwow's goals, and manage partner relationships.
  • Performance & Tracking: Ensure core metrics are tracked and effectively monitored to quickly respond to performance shifts away from expectations.

What You'll Need

  • Proactivity and curiosity, along with a drive to succeed, learn, and develop.
  • A passion for data analysis and natural aptitude for problem-solving, with the ability to mold output into a clear story.
  • Basic SQL skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
  • Strong bias for action and experience solving complex, unstructured problems.
  • Willingness to quickly learn, adapt, and apply new skills.
  • An entrepreneurial mentality that enjoys experimentation and is willing to take risks.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a generous benefits package, including:
