About the Job
We're looking for a talented Character Modeler to join our team at FunPlus, where you'll have the opportunity to create stunning 3D character models for our upcoming project.
Your Role
- Design and develop high-quality 3D character models that showcase your artistic vision and technical expertise.
- Collaborate with our concept artists and animators to ensure seamless integration into our creature generation system.
- Apply textures and materials that reflect our game's unique aesthetic, using advanced tools to maintain consistency across all characters.
- Optimize model performance for cross-platform compatibility, balancing visual fidelity and technical requirements.
- Maintain accurate documentation for our modeling pipelines, providing guidelines for future asset creation.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Game Art, 3D Modeling, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 3 years as a Character Modeler in the gaming industry, with a strong portfolio demonstrating versatility in character design.
- Proficiency in industry-standard tools such as ZBrush, Maya, 3ds Max, and Substance Painter/Designer.
- A passion for delivering high-quality results that meet our game's exceptional standards.
- A willingness to collaborate and innovate, engaging with new systems and methodologies to drive creative excellence.
