Job Title: Lead Data Scientist

At Tekever Corporation, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Data Scientist to join our team. As a key member of our data science organization, you will be responsible for leading a team of data scientists, developing and implementing advanced machine learning models, and driving business strategy.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of data scientists and foster a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Develop and drive the data science strategy, aligning it with business goals and ensuring successful execution of data initiatives.
  • Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of data projects, from ideation to deployment, ensuring timely delivery and high quality of work.
  • Design, develop, and implement advanced machine learning models and algorithms to solve complex business problems.
  • Perform in-depth data analysis to extract insights, identify trends, and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to understand their needs and deliver impactful data solutions.
  • Stay current with the latest advancements in data science and machine learning and drive the adoption of new techniques and technologies within the team.
  • Evaluate the performance of data models and algorithms using appropriate metrics and techniques and iteratively improve their accuracy and efficiency.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of models, algorithms, and processes for future reference and reproducibility.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field. A Ph.D. is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in data science or a related field, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, as well as R or a similar language.
  • Proficiency in machine learning frameworks and tools such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, scikit-learn, TensorRT.
  • Experience with FiftyOne and CVAT, as well as relevant models such as Yolo.
  • Experience with experimentation platforms such as Jupyter Notebooks.
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools such as SQL, pandas, Matplotlib, or Tableau.
  • Knowledge of big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Experience in getting Machine Learning products to production.
  • Solid knowledge of DevOps best practices and tools: GIT, CI/CD, telemetry and monitoring, etc.
  • Domain expertise in Computer Vision, Signal Processing, and LLM projects.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to design innovative solutions to complex problems.
