Job Title: Full Stack Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Engineer to join our team at Itrecruiter. As a Full Stack Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our data processing platform, which handles a large volume of data daily.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Obtain tasks from the project lead or team lead, prepare functional and design specifications, and approve them with stakeholders.
  2. Ensure assigned areas are delivered within set deadlines and required quality objectives.
  3. Provide estimations, agree task duration with the manager, and contribute to the project plan of the assigned area.
  4. Evaluate existing data systems, develop best practices for data coding, and update and optimize local and metadata models.
  5. Troubleshoot and optimize data systems, understand business drivers and analytical use-cases, and translate these to data products.
  6. Design, implement, and maintain pipelines that produce business-critical data reliably and efficiently using cloud technology.
  7. Address area-level risks, provide, and implement mitigation plans.
  8. Report about area readiness/quality and raise red flags in crisis situations.
  9. Responsible for resolving crisis situations within their area of responsibility.
  10. Initiate and conduct code reviews, create code standards, conventions, and guidelines.
  11. Suggest technical and functional improvements to add value to the product.
  12. Constantly improve their professional level.
  13. Collaborate with other teams.

Requirements:

  • Backend: Java, SQL
  • Frontend: React, TypeScript
  • University degree in Computer Related Sciences or similar.
  • Solid Java coding skill with 9+ years of experience as a full stack engineer.
  • Experience in: React, RESTful APIs, and SQL.
  • Strong foundation in computer science and engineering: algorithms, data structures, programming, databases, design patterns, virtualization, etc.
  • Knowledge of frontend technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3, React.
  • Proficiency in object-oriented programming using Java.
  • Ability to organize and document solutions.
  • A passion for streamlining systems and processes to make the difficult trivial.
  • Strong OOP skills.
  • Effective communication (oral & written), collaboration, and interpersonal skills. Result-oriented approach.
  • Would be a plus: Experience with AWS (S3)
  • Required experience: +9 years
  • Mandatory: Fluent English
  • Work in EST timezone 100% remote
