Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements for the company's assets.
General Ledger Maintenance: Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring accurate entries related to property revenue, expenses, and other financial transactions.
Accounts Payable & Receivable: Oversee the invoicing process, manage accounts payable and receivable, and ensure timely payments and collections.
Audit Support: Prepare documentation and assist during internal and external audits.
Fixed Assets: Track and record fixed asset acquisitions, depreciation, and disposals, ensuring accurate property asset registers.
Financial Analysis: Provide financial analysis and reports to senior management.
Liaison with Property Management: Work closely with the property management team to ensure accurate financial reporting and to support operational decision-making.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience: At least 1 year of accounting experience. Experience in the real estate, hotels or property management sectors is a plus.
Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Working proficiency in English. Knowledge of GAAP and IFRS is a plus. Knowledge of real estate accounting, including lease accounting, property tax regulations, and fixed asset management is a plus. Proficient in accounting software. Experience with Netsuite is a big plus.
