We are seeking an Automation Tester to join our team in Lisbon or Porto. Requirements include:
- 4+ years of experience in Test Automation activities;
- Expertise in developing and maintaining automated test scripts;
- 2+ years of experience in Unified Functional Testing and VB script;
- Previous work experience with Postman, JSON, ALM Octane, Docker, and pipelines creation;
- Fluent in English and French.
Main Activities:
Key Responsibilities- Elaborate the automation test strategy and perform test management;
- Plan the rollout of automated test scripts;
- Estimate budget and timeframe for test automation;
- Estimate return on investment;
- Perform POC to assess technical feasibility of test automation for any given application;
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate test scenarios into Gherkin ensuring they reflect business requirements;
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated tests within existing continuous development pipelines (CI/CD) or create new pipelines using Jenkins/Gitlab CI;
- Setup and maintain automated tests infrastructure using Docker and Kubernetes to ensure portability and reproducibility of test environments;
- Debug issues when running test scripts;
- Maintain and evolve automated test frameworks to improve ROI striving for tests quality and efficiency;
- Analyse and document test results;
- Provide required information for Go/No Go;
- Report any risk of non-commitment regarding delays or quality;
- Give feedback to direct hierarchy on project progress;
- Train developers or junior automation testers to execute, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for CI/CD;
- Train team members on Gherkin;
- Continuously learn to be regularly updated with industry best practices and emerging tools for test automation.
