The ideal candidate will have strong architectural mindset with the ability to quickly grasp API objectives and drive teams toward best practices. They will also have hands-on experience with API Management Platforms and proficiency in API specification formats such as OpenAPI v3, Swagger 2, WSDL. Additionally, they should have a strong understanding of data formats like JSON and XML, as well as deep knowledge of authentication, authorization, and encryption standards including OAuth2, OIDC, mTLS, FAPI, TLS/SSL.
Responsibilities include ensuring API lifecycle management aligns with organizational governance models, reviewing API specifications to ensure compliance with internal guidelines and best practices, assessing API security models and proposing enhancements to meet security requirements, facilitating API lifecycle processes across multiple projects, and streamlining and industrializing API lifecycle processes to improve efficiency.
