We have a strong presence in Portugal, with over 120 clients and a team of over 500 people working on projects across various industries, including banking, insurance, transportation, aviation, energy, and telecom.
Our Nearshore IT center in Lisbon serves as the headquarters for our global operations, with a dedicated team of around 30 professionals integrated into projects with internationally renowned clients.
Job DescriptionThis role involves the development of new Algo models, Algo framework, market data distribution, and ultra-low latency exchange connectors as part of a global joined IT/business team.
Main responsibilities include software development of eTrading platform modules, components, and utilities, ensuring platform stability, coordinating work with global engineering, business, and support teams, and driving innovation in 'greenfield' areas.
The ideal candidate will possess recent experience with C++ (any version from 11 to 20), STL, and Boost, as well as understanding of design and architecture principles, common data structures, and algorithms.
A background in Unix scripts, bash, or Python, along with knowledge of FIX protocol or other Fintech protocols, would be beneficial.
Requirements- C++ Programming Skills: Familiarity with modern C++ standards, STL, and Boost libraries
- Design and Architecture Principles: Understanding of software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and spoken English, ability to collaborate in a globally distributed team
