Job Description

As a Data Manager at Infineon Technologies, you will play a crucial role in building and supporting the growth of our analytics team. Your responsibilities will include establishing the structure of the team, defining roles and resource planning, and setting up an effective team accordingly.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish the structure of the analytics team, including defining roles and resource planning.
  • Set the strategic direction for the analytics function, aligning it with the company's objectives.
  • Liaise with senior management to communicate insights, gain support for analytics initiatives, and understand departmental needs.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of analytic tools, reporting, and methodologies, ensuring they deliver actionable insights.
  • Stay updated with the latest analytic technologies and trends, incorporating them as necessary.
  • Support the enablement of self-service reporting.

You will strive for high-quality results, be a team player, and willing to cooperate closely with local, global, and cross-functional colleagues. With your hands-on attitude, creativity, and excellent communication skills, you will be able to quickly become acquainted with new topics and build lasting relationships with your counterparts.

Requirements:
  • A university degree in Business Administration, Communication Sciences, Data Science, Computer Science, or a similar field of studies.
  • Proven work experience in a manager role and at least 5 or more years of experience in an analytics role or similar - preferably in an international/corporate environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in strategically developing and implementing KPI frameworks for corporate communications departments on a global scale.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset and eagerness to drive analytics for our organization.
  • Proven project management skills to turn your plans into results effectively.
  • Excellent communication and change management skills that enable you to have influence across departments and leadership levels.
  • The ability to understand a business stakeholder's underlying problem and transform it into a data product.
  • Excellent English skills.
