Localization QA Tester

About the Role
As a Localization QA Tester for Swedish games, you will be an integral part of our Localization Quality Assurance team. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the accuracy and consistency of translated text, images, and user interface elements in our games. You will work closely with a global project team to identify and correct language errors, cultural inconsistencies, and other issues that may arise during the localization process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a global project team to ensure accurate translation and localization of game content.
- Identify and correct spelling, grammar, punctuation, and other language errors in translated text.
- Ensure adherence to console manufacturer guidelines for localization.
- Log details of errors and issues, providing improvement suggestions.
- Work with the team to ensure accurate translation within context and maintain consistency in terminology and imagery.
- Identify missing or incorrect content and ensure proper display/format of dates, calendars, and characters.
- Write reports on errors and bugs found and perform ad hoc translation.
- Oversee the quality of your work, collaborate with the team, and contribute to the overall success of projects.
Requirements:
- Fluency in Swedish and English.
- No experience required; we will provide the necessary training and support.
- Strong cultural understanding of the Swedish language.
- Computer literacy, particularly with Excel.
- Robust Internet research skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Previous experience with using different software, applications, and websites.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely and collaborate within project teams.
