About the Role

We are looking for a Transportation Operations Manager to oversee the logistics operations in our Alverca do Ribatejo branch.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for close customer communication and management of customer orders.

Key aspects of this role include pro-actively supervising customer orders to ensure best possible performance and assuming ownership for all needed tasks for defined Trade Lanes and/or specific customers.

Responsibilities

  1. Manage customer orders and ensure timely deliveries
  2. Supervise customer orders to ensure best possible performance
  3. Dispatch and plan FTL tours to ensure highest possible performance and in-time deliveries
  4. Assume ownership for all needed tasks for defined Trade Lanes and/or specific customers

Requirements

  • Knowledge of the Portuguese and European Road Freight market
  • Understanding of market typical dynamics
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, problem solve, and work under pressure
  • Strong PC skills (Windows, Microsoft Office applications), focus on Excel
  • Experience in market-conform TMS preferred
