Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join our Leiria Shared Services Center. As part of our accounting team, you will be responsible for financial management, including book-keeping, accruals, prepayments, and bank reconciliations. This is a maternity cover position, with the possibility of continuation based on business needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
  • Manage cash flow, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
  • Perform bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in accounting or finance
  • Proficiency in Excel and accounting software
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
