About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Internal Controls Analyst to join our team at Boundlessfellows. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for assessing and improving control environments, driving outcomes, and managing processes with internal teams to solve complex issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Help maintain an effective internal control environment over financial reporting
  • Perform control testing to address audit assertions
  • Ensure risk assessment and control frameworks are in place, and running correctly
  • Create internal control narratives, flowcharts, and risk matrices
  • Support the Internal Controls Management in Identifying key business and technology risks and mitigation strategies
  • Track remediation to completion and provide recommendations for control improvements
  • Support finance automation and efficiency initiatives
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of experience in internal controls, internal and external audit & accounting
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
  • Relevant certifications such as CIA, CISA, or CPA
  • Working knowledge of the COSO 2013 and COBIT frameworks
  • Experience executing controls and auditing strategies to achieve results
  • Strong organizational, communication, prioritization, and process improvement skills
