About this Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled BIM Coordinator to join our team and contribute to the success of our clients. As a BIM Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our clients receive high-quality BIM services that meet their needs and expectations.
Main Responsibilities
- Cross-functional support to remaining organization departments, including Marketing, Commercial and Human Resources
- Adhering to ISO Standards applied in the Firm and enforcing standards through the supply chain
- Upholding company standards of excellence and service, guaranteeing quality performance
- Ensuring adherence to organisational policies and procedures to deliver consistent high-quality venue operations
- Reviewing technical documentation related to the project
- Identifying and preparing RFI's for the project, with support from the engineers assigned to the project
- Developing and delivering technical reports as needed
- Attending technical/coordination meetings as needed
- Ensuring the modelling of 3D Models complies with:
- Constructability / Engineering requirements
- Project Requirements
- BIM Requirements (e.g.: BIM Execution Plan)
- Ensuring the drafting of sheets is done in compliance with project standards
- Preparing content libraries to be used (e.g.: Revit Families)
- Performing modelling tasks in the 3D Models which include both geometrical (3D objects)
- Performing data insertion tasks in the 3D Models (parameters/attributes)
- Challenging himself to find methods to improve the project delivery process, reduce project estimated budgets and improve overall quality management and delivery of services
- Providing ongoing feedback, mentoring, advice and coaching to direct reports, supporting skill development, continuous improvement, and increased competencies through an effective performance management framework
Requirements
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced BIM Coordinator who has a strong understanding of BIM technology and its applications in construction projects. The ideal candidate will have:
- 4-6 years of experience in BIM coordination
- A strong background in architecture, engineering, or construction
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and other BIM software
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of ISO Standards and BIM Execution Plans
