About the Role

We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Medical Affairs Trainee Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Medical Department, you'll have the opportunity to work closely with our Neurology and Rare Diseases Therapeutic Areas teams.

In this role, you'll actively participate in implementing medical strategies, supporting activities and events within the department, and managing communications with agencies and suppliers involved in various projects. You'll also collaborate cross-functionally with all affiliate areas to drive business growth and success.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Medical Meetings and Education Projects

You'll provide support in the management of medical meetings and medical education projects, ensuring seamless execution and high-quality outcomes.

Review and Approval of Medical Materials

You'll assist with the review and approval of medical materials in Veeva Insite, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards.

ESE Documentation Management

You'll oversee and manage ESE documentation, maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely completion of tasks.

Clinical Studies Coordination

You'll contribute to the management and coordination of clinical studies, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Medical Omnichannel Activities

You'll support medical omnichannel activities and initiatives, developing and executing strategies to engage stakeholders and drive business results.

Daily Operations and Support

You'll participate in the daily operations of the Medical Affairs department, providing administrative support and contributing to the development of processes and procedures.

Accompaniment and Medical Briefings

You'll accompany Medical Liaison Managers during face-to-face interactions, medical briefings, or clinical sessions, providing valuable support and expertise.

Medical Information Queries

You'll assist in managing and responding to medical information queries, providing timely and accurate answers to stakeholders.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A degree in Life Sciences (PhD, PharmD, or MSc degree in other health-related fields)
  • Proficiency in Portuguese and English (spoken and written), with a good understanding of Spanish as an asset
  • High communication skills and presentation skills
  • High motivation to learn, with strong organizational skills and a positive attitude
  • The ability to manage priorities and respond to simultaneous requests from different stakeholders
  • Compliance with Biogen policies and general compliance requirements within the pharmaceutical industry
