We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Automation Expert to join our Quality Assurance team in Prague. As a key member of our team, you will work on Veeam's products together with Veeam QA professionals.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining automation scripts and tools to improve efficiency and reduce manual labor.
- Designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins) for deploying labs, making changes in the configurations, etc.
- Automating collection of metrics from test labs to Grafana/Victoriametrics.
- Supporting team infrastructure and labs with issues and handling incidents.
- Improving tools used in the team, suggesting improvements.
The ideal candidate should have good experience in on-prem hosted hypervisors and management tools (VMware ESXi, vCenter). Storages, Networking, VM management.
Candidates should also have experience with system configuration tools (Ansible, Packer or similar), CI/CD experience Jenkins or similar (Gitlab CI, TeamCity).
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is preferred.
Candidates with previous experience or interest in System Performance Testing, Database management skills, especially Postgres, and knowledge of Python or other programming/scripting languages will be considered as advantages.
