About the RoleThe Senior Data Science Leader will provide technical leadership on the design and development of machine learning models using Python. They will work closely with the team to implement robust and scalable machine learning solutions while adhering to software development best practices. This includes version control, code quality, and scalability.
Responsibilities- Lead and mentor a team of data scientists, promoting professional growth and alignment with business goals
- Manage the end-to-end development and deployment of machine learning models, from data exploration to production implementation
- Ensure best practices in model validation, testing, and deployment are followed across the team
- Provide technical leadership on the design and development of machine learning models using Python
- Work with the team to implement robust and scalable machine learning solutions, adhering to software development best practices
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in machine learning, data science, or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership or team lead role
- Expertise in machine learning algorithms, statistical techniques, and model evaluation
- Deep experience with the Python ecosystem for machine learning
- Strong experience with Apache Spark (PySpark) for distributed data processing
- Exceptional leadership skills with experience in managing and mentoring data scientists
We offer a competitive salary of €120,000 - €150,000 per year, depending on experience.
