The Medical Affairs Trainee role is a key part of the Medical Department, offering a chance to work within Neurology and Rare Diseases Therapeutic Areas, with a focus on Multiple Sclerosis and Spinal Muscular Atrophy.

This internship provides valuable experience in developing communication skills, gaining knowledge of Medical Department activities, and deepening scientific understanding within Therapeutic Areas. It's an excellent opportunity for hands-on learning and professional growth in the pharmaceutical industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support management of medical meetings and education projects
  • Assist in reviewing and approving medical materials in Veeva Inscite
  • Oversee ESE documentation
  • Contribute to clinical study management and coordination
  • Support omnichannel medical activities and initiatives
  • Participate in daily operations of Medical Affairs department functions
  • Accompany Medical Liaison Managers during interactions and sessions
Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A strong background in Life Sciences and medical affairs-related fields
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple requests from stakeholders
  • Familiarity with Biogen policies and compliance requirements
