Job DescriptionThe Equipment Supply Officer will be responsible for securing the fulfillment of FAL, Pre-FAL, and integrators' needs for components, ensuring production planning is not disrupted. This involves providing timely updates on delivery status to internal stakeholders, adhering to the Equipment Procurement Operations' Supply Management procedures.
Main Responsibilities:- Forecasting activities to anticipate component needs
- Placement and/or follow-up of purchase orders to ensure timely delivery
- Communications with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain smooth supply chain operations
- Supporting the introduction of new products with Manufacturing Functional Teams (MFT) and operational actions
- Managing rework POs with suppliers to minimize delays
- Maintaining strategic buffers to ensure adequate coverage and protect plants from disruptions
- Raising Practical Problem Solving (PPS) on recurrent issues to identify solutions
- Attending performance review meetings and dedicated meetings with suppliers
- Reporting activities and data analysis to inform business decisions
- Inventory management to optimize stock levels and reduce waste
- Utilizing Airbus ERP System (SAP PDA/PGI/PEA) for efficient data management
