Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at Airbus. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of our products and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Quality Management: Ensure consistent application of guidelines, standards, procedures, and norms.
- Process Improvement: Drive process maturity and implement best practices within the Design Organization Approval (DOA) processes and methods.
- Quality Function Establishment: Establish a process quality function for program processes.
- Representative Role: Represent Airbus in design conformity processes.
- Business Requirements: Ensure that all business requirements and process maturity criteria are fulfilled by the process in accordance with Corporate Process Management rules.
- Proactive Support: Provide proactive support to the Process Management Team to set up process referentials and improve process maturity.
- Process Description: Ensure that the process is fully described according to Airbus Aerostructures requirements, allowing its application across Airbus Aerostructures, and manage risks and opportunities associated.
- Collaboration and Communication: Act as a correspondent on overall Quality with the Process Management Team and collaborate with multi-stakeholders to ensure design conformity and quality standards adherence.
- Quality Measurement and Analysis: Define, adapt, and report quality measurement, reports, and analysis of airframe non-quality items, utilizing previous program lessons learned on non-qualities.
- Solution-Focused Approach: Advise on quality processes, propose solutions, and improvements, and find solutions to prevent DQN, modification, and non-quality issues.
Requirements
- Educational Background: Diploma/master's degree in aeronautics and engineering aerospace, mechanical engineering, or comparable qualification.
- Professional Experience: Several years of experience in quality management, DOA management, and/or process management.
- Quality Management Systems: Relevant experience with common quality management systems (ISO 9100/9001/9004).
- Analytical and Systematic Work Style: Analytical and systematic way of working.
- Project Management Skills: Understanding of the overall project management methodology, structured, and organized way of working.
- Data Management: Talent for agile, reliable, and fast data management, high resilience, and assertiveness.
- Configuration Management and Design Non-Conformities: Experience with configuration management and design non-conformities processes.
- Team and Communication Skills: Team & communication skills.
- Work Ethic: Accurate work ethic.
