Statistical Analyst for Crop Protection Innovation

At InnovPlantProtect, we are driving innovation in crop protection by developing cutting-edge products and services. We are seeking a highly skilled Statistical Analyst to join our team.
Job DescriptionAs a Statistical Analyst, you will play a key role in analyzing complex biological data generated in the lab/field and providing insights that guide ongoing research. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team of biologists, bioinformaticians, data scientists, agronomists, and GIS specialists to support the development of experimental designs and create user-friendly dashboards that automate routine data analysis processes.
Main Responsibilities- Conduct statistical analysis of complex biological data generated in the lab/field and provide insights that guide ongoing research;
- Support the development of appropriate experimental designs;
- Develop short workshops on statistical methodologies and R programming that empower team members to perform basic analyses independently;
- Create user-friendly dashboards that automate routine data analysis processes;
- PhD in a field of the biological sciences, ideally in a quantitative field (e.g., biostatistics, bioinformatics);
- Demonstrated experience in the analysis of biological data using statistical methods (e.g., hypothesis testing, ANOVA, generalized linear models);
- Strong knowledge of R programming for data analysis, including literate programming with Rmarkdown;
- Ability to develop and deliver educational workshops on statistics and data analysis tools;
- Strong data management skills and experience handling large datasets;
We offer a competitive salary of €28,644 per year, plus a lunch subsidy of €6 per day. Our full-time contract is expected to start on January 2nd, 2025, and continue until December 31st, 2025, with a trial period of one month. The contract may be renewed annually for a further one year depending on performance and further financial support.
