We are hiring a Staff Backend Software Engineer to join our GenAI team in Portugal. As a member of this team, you will leverage advanced AI technologies to personalize user experiences, streamline operations, and optimize resources.
This role focuses on generative AI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) + LLMs fine tuning, and API integrations. You will design, develop, and implement generative AI-based applications, work with large language models (LLMs) to create innovative applications and solutions, and conduct research to stay updated with the latest advancements in generative AI.
You will also Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Generative AI Development: Design, develop, and implement generative AI-based applications.
- Work with large language models (LLMs): Create innovative applications and solutions.
- Conduct research: Stay updated with the latest advancements in generative AI.
- Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG): Develop and optimize RAG systems to enhance the performance and accuracy of AI models.
- API Development and Integration: Design and develop APIs to interface with various AI models and services.
The ideal candidate for this position should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field, and experience in programming languages such as Python, Go, Java, C or C++. They should also be familiar with SQL/NoSQL technologies, have experience with API development and integration, and excellent problem-solving skills.
