About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Digital Solutions Architect to join our Digital and OSS Engineering Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the definition of our digital and OSS roadmap and agenda, and performing solution design for strategic and complex projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs, objectives, and challenges.
- Create and continuously develop the overall digital and OSS evolution roadmap that enables business objectives, driving modernization, consolidation, and harmonization.
- Anticipate and advise OSS management in creating the strategic domain roadmap as well as the mid-/long term Network Evolution Plan.
- Elicit, document, and analyze business requirements into clear and concise functional specifications for technical teams.
- Collaborate with Technology teams to design solutions that meet business needs.
- Propose innovative and practical solutions to address business challenges.
- Ensure that proposed solutions align with Vodafone's strategic goals and technological capabilities.
- Work to continuously improve our governance, supported by Enterprise Architecture Frameworks.
About You
- Degree in engineering, telecommunications, computer science or a similar qualification and at least 5 years of professional experience in IT architecture, solution architecture and/or software development.
- Experience of working in an architecture / solution design role, developing architecture concepts around OSS/ BSS/ digital technology disciplines (Cloud, Data Analytics, Machine Learning/ AI, Automation, Micro Services, and Integration, Network Orchestration).
- Strong business acumen and organizational abilities to balance strategies against what is functionally, technologically, and financially feasible.
- Familiar and experienced applying Enterprise Architecture frameworks like TOGAF.
- Demonstrate/ apply analytical approach to outline the design options with their multiple angles - ex: technology, cost, time - based on the scope, the requirements, the assumptions, and the constraints.
- Experience working at a strategic level with partners and vendors to develop solutions that drive innovation and new business opportunities.
- Story telling ability, you can navigate between the big picture and the details' views and can explain technical topics/subjects to non-technical colleagues, outline clear reports and other formal documentation required for solution evaluation, design, and delivery.
- Experience of developing and managing Technical Design Authority, implementing best practice around architecture, Lean and Safe /Agile Methodologies.
- Knowledge of telecommunication technologies, processes, network architectures and industry standards.
- Business fluent in English and Portuguese.
