Phiture is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accounting Professional to join our team.

About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned accounting expert to lead our financial management processes, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with internal standards and generally accepted accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain a system of controls, procedures, and forms for general accounting records.
  • Serve as a resident expert on Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable systems.
  • Provide coaching and assistance to junior accountants, promoting growth and development.
  • Prepare complex reports in a timely manner, adhering to business controls and GAAP.
  • Research and verify discrepancies, ensuring current and accurate information.
  • Assist in preparing audit schedules and collaborating with auditors.
  • Process accounting data for balance sheet and statement drafting.
  • Support month-end close processes.
  • Contribute to the implementation of accounting systems as necessary.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the automotive industry or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP ERP Systems.
  • Intermediate to advanced-level skills in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in English language (spoken and written) and Portuguese (spoken and written).
  • CPA (OCC) or CMA certification an advantage.
