**Job Summary**

We are looking for a Business Intelligence Developer to join our team in Lisbon, Portugal. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing business intelligence solutions using Looker and other related technologies.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Looker (including LookML) and experience with cloud data warehouses, preferably with GCP BigQuery. They will also possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

In this role, you will work closely with the Data Warehouse team to estimate, plan, manage, and lead assigned data integration projects/tasks. You will build corresponding ETL/ELT processes and data flows to provide data outputs for analytics and data science.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Estimating, planning, managing, and leading assigned data integration projects/tasks within the Data Warehouse team.
  • Building corresponding ETL/ELT processes and data flows to provide data outputs for analytics and data science.
  • Creating consumable data models and visualizations.
  • Coordinating system upgrades together with other platform teams, including the planning and execution of non-regression tests.
  • Defining and promoting best practices and design principles for Data Warehouse architecture in cooperation with the Data Warehouse architect.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least four years of working experience in comparable engineering roles.
  • Strong knowledge of Looker (including LookML).
  • Experience with cloud data warehouses, preferably with GCP BigQuery.
  • Knowledge of dbt and version management tools (e.g. GIT).
  • Strong programming skills in SQL and Python.
  • Scrum methodology knowledge.
