Senior Elixir Software Engineer for Energy Transition

The Energy Transition team at Maersk is looking for a skilled Senior Elixir Software Engineer to join our efforts in decarbonizing logistics. As a key member of the team, you will work on the development of Energy Transition products for the entire Maersk Group, leveraging Elixir and advanced technology stack. Our goal is to rapidly develop and continuously deploy systems that identify, track, and reduce emissions. We are committed to using Extreme Programming (XP) methodologies, such as pair programming, test-driven development, and continuous integration and delivery. If you have experience with Elixir, knowledge of logistics, and a passion for sustainability, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop Elixir code for Energy Transition products
- Collaborate with the team to design and implement systems that reduce emissions
- Work with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver high-quality software products
- Contribute to the development of methodologies for effective remote working
Requirements:
- Experience with Elixir and the technologies we use (Kubernetes, Phoenix)
- Knowledge of extreme programming practices and values
- Relevant domain knowledge in logistics, financial services, or energy
