About the Role
This is a hands-on position as a Mid-level Product Designer, primarily focusing on designing and optimizing CRM Emails. You will work closely with a CRM manager in creating, experimenting, and optimizing CRM and transactional emails, as well as creating wireframes and user flows, designing, experimenting, and testing side by side with other UX Designers, UX Researchers, Copywriters, Product Managers, Engineers, integrated into a cross-functional team responsible for identifying, validating, and delivering new engaging features and optimizing in specific product areas, as well as targeting areas of improvement and opportunities to explore.
Your Responsibilities
You will be responsible for problem-solving, working with CRM managers, researchers, designers, and developers within the Mobile Growth Team to deliver visual solutions to business problems. You will identify success metrics and use data (qual & quant) to drive design decisions, do quantitative and qualitative research where needed to support design decisions, run Usability Testing sessions to validate your designs through an iterative process, propose and adopt best-practices and world-class standards, always with usability as a top priority, work with other designers, copywriters, engineers, and product owners to ensure high-quality delivery, define the information architecture, visual interactions, and goals for each project, wire-frame and validate the design solutions to prepare for development, build high-fidelity designs and interactable prototypes, and seek out design system best practices, design patterns across multiple industries and products to constantly evolve Hostelworld products and design language.
Requirements
You should have relevant experience as a UX/UI or Product Designer, basic skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to read code and work with html page builders to make adjustments and optimizations, have worked in-house for a company with great visual culture, have experience in start-up/fast-paced environments, proven technical understanding and experience on consuming scalable design systems and/or UI pattern libraries, experience designing for email marketing and native mobile products, as well as using web page builders, strong understanding of visual harmony, information hierarchy, and design patterns, the ability to produce quality and scalable visual designs, write simple and clear design documentation for designers, engineers, product owners, and other stakeholders, clearly articulate and explain ideas to other designers, engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders, a growth mindset actively identifying and driving growth outcomes while balancing business growth and customer problems, be proactive and self-sufficient, capable of performing functions independently and autonomously, be a creative thinker and not afraid to ask questions, and possess strong communication skills across all mediums.
