Job Description
We are seeking an IT Helpdesk Senior Technician to join our project in Carcavelos. The ideal candidate will act as the escalation point for Level 1 and Level 2 support teams, providing advanced troubleshooting and resolution for complex IT issues. Key responsibilities include:
- Diagnosing and resolving hardware malfunctions, software conflicts, and network-related problems across diverse systems and devices.
- Ensuring rapid response to incidents and service requests, minimizing downtime and disruptions.
- Conducting routine maintenance of systems, including updates, patches, and backups, to ensure compliance with organizational standards.
- Providing hands-on support to end users, resolving technical issues, and offering guidance on IT tools and resources.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To excel in this role, you will require:
- At least 5 years of professional experience in IT support roles, with a minimum of 2 years in a senior-level or advanced technician capacity.
- Deep knowledge of operating systems, including Windows (10, 11, and Server versions) and macOS (latest versions).
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, including LAN/WAN configurations, DHCP, DNS, VPNs, VLANs, firewall management, and wireless network setups.
- Proficiency with enterprise-level ITSM platforms and remote support tools.
