As a Director of Cloud Cost Optimization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to optimize cloud costs, improve resource utilization, and enhance the overall efficiency of our cloud infrastructure.

This role requires a strong understanding of cloud computing, IT services management, and financial analysis. The ideal candidate will have experience working with multiple cloud providers, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas for cost savings, develop and implement cost-saving strategies, and monitor and report on progress. Key responsibilities include developing cloud cost allocation methods, increasing cloud cost reporting and alerting, and delivering regular financial reports to senior leadership.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize cloud costs, improve resource utilization, and enhance the overall efficiency of our cloud infrastructure
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas for cost savings and develop cost-saving strategies
  • Develop cloud cost allocation methods, increase cloud cost reporting and alerting, and deliver regular financial reports to senior leadership
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in cloud operations, cloud cost optimization, or related fields
