Job Description
This role involves supporting IT specialists by gathering and sharing information. The ideal candidate will bring clarity and highlight the business impact of proposed solutions.
You will be responsible for:
- Developing software using Cobol language
- Working with Business Analysts and Technical Leads to deliver quality products
- Performing development work with efficient and quality deliverables
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- At least 7 years of programming experience in COBOL, DB2/SQL, JCL, CICS COBOL Online (Screens and Maps), and sequential file handling
- More than 5 years of experience in system analysis and design
- Experience with Visual COBOL and Eclipse development tool
- Familiarity with Unix shell scripts
- Proficiency in conducting program unit testing and system integration testing
Languages
Fluency in English (minimum B2) and French (minimum B1) is mandatory.
