Role Overview

The Product Manager for Oncology at Roche Diagnostics Portugal will play a key role in leading the Oncology portfolio from pre-launch to the phase-out stage of products. This includes providing robust product expertise to support commercial teams, developing and implementing the marketing plan, and maintaining close relationships with key opinion leaders and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse the market and competitive landscape to determine appropriate product positioning, pricing, and marketing activities.
  • Ensure forecast accuracy by analysing market data and competitive activities, as well as information from the CRM and teams.
  • Plan and prioritise projects, major activities, and allocate budget effectively, proactively assisting the team in identifying and securing sales opportunities.
  • Train commercial teams to effectively commercialise the portfolio.
  • Establish internal procedures, and management controls to ensure compliance with business, quality, regulatory, and accounting standards within the team.
  • Master our digital solutions portfolio and craft impactful messaging that underscores the value proposition and benefits of our digital solutions.

Requirements

  • An advanced academic degree in a relevant field within health sciences, chemistry or biology, or a related field.
  • Experience in sales and/or marketing in Oncology within the IVD industry, with a solid understanding of the IVD value chain and solutions in Pathology Labs and NGS segments.
  • Strong project management, organisation, and planning skills, with a consistent track record of driving market development initiatives related to innovative digital solutions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build long-term, trusting relationships with both local and international teams and stakeholders.
