The Automatics and Systems Lab (LAS) is a leading institution in medical device development, testing, and regulatory support. As a Business Development Manager EU Projects, you will be responsible for driving business growth through securing EU grants and funding opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Research and analyze funding programs, companies' needs, and end-user demand to identify new business opportunities.
  • Contribute to the execution of IPN LAS business development strategies.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and potential partners to secure funding opportunities.
  • Maintain CRM tools to track progress and performance metrics.
  • Represent the organization at conferences, networking events, and match-making sessions.
  • Support the communication team to design external visibility and awareness of IPN Automatics Lab activities.

Requirements

  • MSc in Electrotechnical or Biomedical Engineering, Healthcare Sciences, Health Economics, or related fields.
  • Experience in marketing or business development, particularly in European funding programs.
  • Familiarity with Horizon Europe, EIT-Health, DEP, THCS, Interreg, and Eureka funding programs.
  • Proficient in English and Portuguese.
