Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Indirect Procurement Professional to join our team. As a key member of our procurement function, you will be responsible for sourcing and procuring goods and services that meet our business requirements. Your primary focus will be on coordinating with internal stakeholders, including IT, Finance, HR, and Legal, to ensure seamless procurement processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify purchasing activities and execute them in coordination with the business, procurement strategy, and Indirect Procurement Category Managers.
- Analyze supplier market research and frame relevant sourcing recommendations based on suppliers' expenditures analysis.
- Select services that fit business requirements and negotiate contracts that meet budget, schedule, quality, technical, and ESG requirements.
- Ensure compliance with Group Supply Chain Policies and Processes, including contracting, ethics, and compliance.
- Run and participate in suppliers' evaluation and maintain a Contract database updated in real-time.
- Lead tendering processes by understanding commercial and contractual requirements, qualifying suppliers, issuing RFIs/RFQs, analyzing offers, and developing recommendations for bidder selection.
- Document tendering processes and ensure tactical management of procurement processes is conducted appropriately.
Negotiations and Contractual Management
You will lead negotiations with vendors using package strategy and leverage, perform financial/commercial analysis to identify risks and opportunities, manage claims and improvement plans with suppliers, and conduct internal contract checkpoints to minimize risks and leverage new opportunities.
Support Global Supply Chain Effectiveness
You will support the implementation of category management at local or global levels, execute contract and supplier management with a focus on strategic sourcing, identify and escalate issues with strategic suppliers, support Indirect Procurement Category Managers and stakeholders in supplier rating, provide knowledge insights of the market, run procurement analytics, and update them regularly.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Management, Engineering, or similar field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in indirect purchasing, preferably in a listed company operating globally.
- Prior experience in ERP implementation is a plus.
- Fluency in English.
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum (dependent on location)
