We're seeking a talented Category Portfolio Manager to join our Commercial business unit.
About Your RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to lead the development and management of product categories across all stores in Portugal, ensuring their correct implementation in line with our Convenience strategy.
- You will develop, design, and implement category strategies, aligning with our business plan for Company-Managed and Franchised stores.
- You'll define product, service, pricing, and implementation offerings to maximize business profitability.
- You'll monitor market trends, procure new suppliers, products, businesses, and trends, and systematically analyze concepts implemented in the market.
- You'll negotiate with suppliers to secure the best supply conditions and cost prices, ensuring competitiveness of commercial proposals.
- You'll coordinate communication campaigns and promotions at the national level, as well as merchandising policies and display placement.
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- An academic background in Management, Hospitality Management, or Engineering.
- Extensive experience in Product Category Management, Retail, Commercial, Negotiation, Operations, and Marketing.
- Ability to develop and manage commercial strategies for multiple product categories across all stores in Portugal.
- Expertise in developing differentiated value propositions through product and service offerings that meet diverse consumption trends and customer needs.
- Global coordination skills to achieve the best cost/quality/lead time ratio, meeting sales and margin objectives.
- Proficiency in English.
- Strong analytical and technical skills for Product Category Management.
- Advanced knowledge of digital tools and commercial management systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and team spirit.
