Job Summary
As a Senior Test Automation Engineer at Https:/Www.Energyjobline.Com/Sitemap, you will be responsible for designing and developing automated testing frameworks for our Five9 telecom platform. Your expertise in Python 3.X and/or Java will enable you to create efficient and scalable test scripts, ensuring the highest quality of our products. You will work closely with our Development, DevOps, and TechOps teams to align goals and priorities, and participate in Agile software development initiatives to support innovation and enhancement of our automation framework and tools.
Key Responsibilities
• Automated testing of Five9 telecom platform using Python-based automation framework
• New test script development for end-to-end product testing using automation framework
• Test result analysis for executed tests using test framework logs, product logs, and traffic dumps
• Support and extend the automation framework
• Develop new automation tools
• Detect weak points in existing automated processes and flows, eliminate these issues, and control efficiency for automated flows and processes
• Communicate with other departments to align goals and priorities for Test Automation Group with company strategies
• Participate in Agile software development initiatives to support innovation and enhancement of automation framework and tools
Requirements
• Hands-on experience with Python 3.X and/or Java or any other OOP programming language
• Solid knowledge of programming techniques and algorithms (OOP, multithreading)
• Experienced user of Linux-based OSes
• Knowledge of SIP protocol and/or other telecom protocols or the desire to learn and be professional in this area
• 3+ years of experience in similar automation roles
• Solid knowledge of software development processes and software testing methodologies
• Excellent team player with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with software version control and project/bug-tracking systems (JIRA, Git, ...)
Desirable Skills
• Experience in REST API automation and/or SDK type of interfaces (Java, Python, C++, etc.)
• Very strong interpersonal, reliable, and communication skills
• Proactivity in investigating new opportunities for automation
• Experience with AWS/GCP Automation frameworks for CI/CD processes
• Experience in Test Automation projects for cloud computing solutions (private or public)
• Practical experience with MySQL
• Knowledge of Asterisk or FreeSWITCH usage and configuration level
