This recruitment process is confidential. We are looking for a talented individual who can drive procurement excellence across various categories globally and ensure day-to-day interaction with internal stakeholders and suppliers to guarantee uninterrupted supply of quality equipment.
The Junior Category Manager reports to the VP Capex Procurement & Project Engineering and is responsible for assisting sourcing activities for the capex procurements department. This role involves establishing and implementing global and regional sourcing strategies for allocated categories, conducting data analysis and market research, and developing key strategy measures.
Data-Driven Decision Making
The ideal candidate will have a degree in mechanical, polymer, or electrical engineering, with 3-10 years of experience in manufacturing or automation. Previous experience focused on downstream and automation equipment is highly valued. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is mandatory, while CIPS Diploma, knowledge of SAP, and Ariba are considered advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
- Management of complex RFQs, including preparation of quote comparison and lead supplier negotiations for commercial and contractual aspects.
- Preparation and execution of sourcing committees, alignment of joint decisions between all project participants.
- Client Relationship Management with internal stakeholders and local buyers in the plants.
- Maintenance of high levels of service to internal Logoplaste parties, ensuring internal KPIs are maintained for reaction and accuracy of RFQs.
