Your Mission
We are seeking a skilled Illustrator to join our team and create high-quality visual content for our technical documentation. In this role, you will collaborate closely with engineers, technical writers, and product managers to illustrate complex technical concepts, ensuring our manuals, schematics, and guides are both informative and visually appealing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Visual Communication: Develop diagrams, schematics, and illustrations that accurately represent technical information related to wind turbine components and systems.
- Collaboration: Work with technical writers, engineers, and product managers to understand and visualize technical specifications.
- Consistency: Ensure all visual materials adhere to our company's branding and technical standards.
- Documentation Integration: Collaborate with the documentation team to seamlessly integrate illustrations into technical documents and user manuals.
- Updates & Revisions: Revise and update illustrations based on feedback and evolving project requirements.
- Digital Asset Management: Maintain a digital library of illustrations and templates for ongoing and future projects.
- Design Reviews: Participate in design reviews and contribute insights on visual communication best practices.
Your Profile
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Illustration, Technical Communication, or a related field.
- Technical Illustration Experience: Demonstrated experience in creating technical illustrations, preferably in engineering or industrial contexts.
- Software Proficiency: Strong skills in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and other design tools; familiarity with CAD drawing interpretation is a plus.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to transform complex technical concepts into clear, concise visuals.
- Collaboration Skills: Excellent communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in the energy or manufacturing sector, especially in wind energy, is advantageous.
