Are you passionate about leading teams to success and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation? We're looking for an experienced Engineering Team Lead to join our Base Platform Group, where you'll lead a team responsible for designing and implementing data integrations across distributed systems.

Your Mission:

  • Provide leadership and guidance to a diverse team, fostering their growth and development while promoting a collaborative and inclusive work culture.
  • Take accountability for the overall performance and success of your team, ensuring delivery on key objectives and driving continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, align priorities, and drive towards common goals.
  • Lead by example in adhering to best practices, standards, and efficient processes, ensuring the reliability and scalability of team deliverables.
  • Champion innovation and drive the implementation of new ideas and technologies to improve team performance and enhance overall business outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, presenting complex concepts and findings in a clear and concise manner.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and advancements, identifying opportunities for growth and development within your team and the organization as a whole.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, creativity, and continuous learning, empowering team members to reach their full potential and achieve shared objectives.

Your Profile:

  • 3+ years of experience in a leadership role, with a proven track record of successfully leading teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Strong background in backend or fullstack development.
  • Experience with integrating and exchanging data between systems.
  • Experience in designing and building customer facing APIs.
  • Curiosity and openness to learning, embracing change, and proactively adapting to new requirements and environments.
  • Strong product and business acumen, you really understand how to build a valuable product with real-world impact.
  • Experience in utilizing product and engineering metrics to unlock the full potential of the team and maximize overall product impact.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a structured and holistic approach to complex challenges.
  • Ability to identify and mitigate technical risks, ensuring on-time and safe delivery of new product capabilities.
  • Mastery in software engineering principles and effective design patterns suitable for different development scenarios.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering teamwork, collaboration, and mentorship.
  • Passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends and advancements, with a keen interest in driving innovation and excellence.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Fluent in English and optionally German.
  • You are a team player and open-minded for after-work socializing.
