About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Safety) profile IT specialist to join our team at ALTER SOLUTIONS. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system engineering and a passion for ensuring the reliability and safety of complex systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and optimize the RAMS aspects of IT systems, networks, and infrastructure to ensure they meet the necessary standards of performance and safety.
- Develop and implement risk assessment, fault analysis, and preventive maintenance planning strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the integration of safety measures into system development lifecycles.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest safety standards and regulations, particularly for railway systems.
- Apply reliability calculations for complex systems and utilize tools like DOORS and BlockSim for safety systems development.
Requirements
- Academic background in System Engineering or a related field (Electrotechnics, Electromechanical, Mechanical, Robotic Engineering, etc.).
- Good knowledge of configuration management procedures.
- Experience in Verification and Validation and/or Quality Assurance.
- Knowledge of system and software development lifecycles.
- Safety Standards, particularly for Railway systems.
- Safety Analysis techniques like FMEAs, FTAs, Hazard analysis, and others.
- Reliability calculations for complex systems.
- Typical tools used for Safety systems development like DOORS, BlockSim, etc.
