Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Events Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing events that drive engagement and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive event plans, including schedules, budgets, and task lists.
• Collaborate with marketing and communication teams to ensure message consistency and maximize promotional impact.
• Oversee event logistics, including transportation, accommodation, catering, audiovisual equipment, and decoration.
• Ensure all technical and operational requirements are met and that the event runs smoothly.
• Coordinate culinary demonstrations, workshops, and tastings during events.
• Represent METRO LOGISTICS at events and manage relationships with stakeholders.
• Coordinate with chefs, sommeliers, and other event organizing companies to ensure successful collaboration.
• Create and manage event budgets, ensuring cost optimization and profitability.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers and service providers to secure the best financial terms.
• Assess the success of events by collecting participant feedback and analyzing performance metrics.
• Prepare detailed post-event reports, identifying strengths, areas for improvement, and recommendations for future events.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communication, or a related field.
• Proven experience in organizing and managing events.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proactive approach and ability to solve problems under pressure.
• Availability to travel and work outside normal hours as needed.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Interest and knowledge in the gastronomic sector.
