About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Controls Specialist to join our team at Siemens S.A. as a key member of our Cybersecurity department. As a Cybersecurity Controls Specialist, you will play a vital role in reducing cybersecurity risk exposure and increasing cybersecurity maturity level of Corporate IT. Your mission will be to timely react in the event of cybersecurity attacks and crises as a single point of contact to CYS.

Key Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include driving cybersecurity priorities for Corporate IT for selected IT units. Depending on your individual skills, you will be (jointly) responsible for some of the following team activities for selected IT units of Corporate IT:

  1. Monitoring and support regarding up-to-dateness
  2. Asset Classification and Protection (ACP) incl. Business Impact Assessments (BIA) and Protection Concepts (ProtCon)
  3. SFeRA rules and exceptions (Security Framework and Regulations Application)
  4. Vulnerabilities and server agents
  5. End of Life (End of Support) of software on servers
  6. Mandatory cybersecurity trainings
  7. CF A audit measures with cybersecurity aspects
  8. Platform security (M365 Tenant, Azure, Salesforce, ...)
  9. Data quality in IT repositories (e.g. ServiceNow or IT Asset Management tools)
  10. IT Assets of selected IT units (in total more than 750 Applications and 10,000 servers for Corporate IT)
  11. Reduction of local admin rights to a needed minimum
  12. CYS and Corporate IT projects (e.g. Zero Trust)
  13. Cybersecurity in the supply chain
  14. Reporting and deriving of measures for IT units of Corporate IT:
  15. Automation of Cybersecurity Controls Dashboard (today based on Power BI)
  16. Global quarterly reporting to IT Leadership Team
  17. Global quarterly/monthly updates on IT Value Center level for selected IT units
  18. Joint task forces in the event of cybersecurity attacks and crisis with CYS and Corporate Security.


What You Need to Qualify

To succeed in this role, you will require a degree in cybersecurity, computer science, commercial informatics, data analytics, and/or business administration. You should have at least 5 years of experience in IT / CYS / Digitalization, as well as at least 5 years working in an international organization. Additionally, you should possess cybersecurity governance knowledge, including asset classification and protection, security frameworks, vulnerability + incident management, IT repositories, end of support of software, and broad IT knowledge for infrastructure and applications. You should also have strong communication skills and professional English language skills.
