Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Architect to join our team. As a Cloud Architect, you will design software solutions that bring business needs to life. You will align architectural strategies with business objectives and provide inputs on technology roadmaps. You will also work closely with other teams to understand their technical requirements and help lead and mentor the team with your technical expertise and passion for coding/technology.
You will guide building and maintaining complex BTP Cloud Services deployed in cloud environments. You will learn new technologies, help the team adopt state-of-the-art technologies, and innovate. You will define coding best practices, guidelines, and architecture paradigms for clean code. You will explore DevOps using Infrastructure as Code methodologies to increase team developer experience. You will collaborate with the team to work on and improve agile practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need deep hands-on expertise in TypeScript/Node.js or Golang. You will have a love for software development, coding best practices, and learning. You will have deep containerization and orchestration knowledge (Kubernetes and Docker). Understanding of PostgreSQL and Redis services and their use cases is beneficial. Cloud development principles (the 12-factors) are beneficial. IaaS experience with at least one cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is beneficial. Great confidence working within Unix/Linux shell environments is necessary. Deep Git knowledge is required. Cloud DevOps knowledge is beneficial (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Concourse, Terraform, etc.). Ability to speak and write English fluently is mandatory.
