Job Description

  • Perform procurement and sourcing functions, including commodity/services/goods procurement, outsourcing, and vendor selection, as well as project material sourcing/planning.
  • Focusing on continuous improvement of material movement through various processes and establishing key performance metrics and benchmarks to measure actual performance against goals regularly.
  • Developing and executing cost-saving strategies for indirect materials and services, streamlining procurement processes to increase efficiency and reduce cycle times.
  • Ensuring strict adherence to contractual obligations and mitigating risks, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify procurement opportunities and optimize spending.
  • Conducting regular supplier performance evaluations and implementing corrective actions as needed, ensuring all assigned tasks are delivered on time, safely, efficiently, reliably, and in a cost-effective manner.
  • Executing professional activities in compliance with GMP and HSE guidelines, internal and external requirements, and promoting the implementation and maintenance of Hovione's policies, systems, and procedures (COPs, HBR, SOPs, and others).

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • University degree, preferably a Master's in Engineering, Life Sciences, or Business Management.
  • 3-4 minimum years of experience in procurement or commerce.
  • Fluency in English (mandatory).
  • Computer literate with good working knowledge of the MS Office package.
