As a Localization QA Specialist at Side, you will be an integral part of our global project team. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the accuracy and consistency of localized game content across various platforms.
About the Role
In this position, you will work closely with our localization quality assurance team to identify and correct errors in translated text, images, and user interface components. You will be the first point of contact for our project team, ensuring that the game is free from grammatical errors, cultural inconsistencies, and other issues that may affect the player's experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a global project team to achieve common goals.
- Identify and correct spelling, grammar, punctuation, and other language errors in translated content.
- Evaluate adherence to console manufacturer guidelines and ensure accurate translation within context.
- Log details of errors and issues, providing improvement suggestions to enhance the overall quality of the game.
- Ensure consistent terminology and imagery throughout the game, maintaining the highest standards of quality.
- Oversee the quality of your work, collaborate with the team, and contribute to the overall success of projects.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should possess strong cultural understanding of the Polish language and conversational English skills. Additionally, you should have basic computer literacy, particularly with Excel, robust internet research skills, excellent attention to detail, and previous experience working with different software applications and websites.
