We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our multidisciplinary team of Cloud experts, Designers, Business consultants, Security experts, Engineers, Developers, and other extraordinary talents, spread across more than 20 EMEA countries.
As a Business Analyst, you will be an IT point of contact for ad-hoc queries from the business across the systems maintained and supported by the P&L IT team. You will analyze business requirements, working with the business and end-users to understand their needs and processes. You will design the IT solution, write user stories in Jira, and verify understanding of the requirements with users. You will work closely with IT developers to discuss development options and feasible functionality which can be implemented.
Key responsibilities:
- Be an IT point of contact for ad-hoc queries from the business across the systems maintained and supported by the P&L IT team.
- Analyze the business requirements, working with the business and end-users to understand their needs and processes.
- Design the IT solution, write user stories in Jira, and verify understanding of the requirements with users.
- Work closely with IT developers to discuss development options and feasible functionality which can be implemented.
- Define, execute, and document the functional testing plan including regression testing in coordination with the regression tester.
- Ensure teams are aware of an upcoming change.
- Escalate risks and issues appropriately to the BA team manager and P&L team manager.
- Acquire and maintain a good/detailed understanding of the Global Markets business, document on wiki pages on a regular basis.
- Perform user training as required and provide functional support when required.
- Actively contribute to the development and improvement of the Business Analyst methodology by sharing key skills, knowledge and experience with other team members as well as cross-training.
- Ensure IT Security guidelines are on board.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in Business Analysis.
- Strong communicator / Interpersonal Skills.
- Strong level of autonomy and proactivity.
- Proven experience in the Banking industry would be ideal.
- Ability to prepare specifications and write/execute functional testing.
- Ability to organize UAT and sign-off process.
- Ability to support IT applications.
- Familiar with Agile methods in particular Scrum.
- Experience in working within an environment with high pressure on timeliness and quality of deliveries.
- Knowledge of basic SQL syntax is a plus.
