Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and optimize large volume production manufacturing solutions for new electrification products.
  • Implement manufacturing best practices and lessons learned into new designs.
  • Lead process standard development, definition, documentation, and deployment.
  • Collaborate within global teams and plant teams.
  • Define production equipment specifications and lead the sourcing process.
  • Follow up on machine projects with external suppliers, from design to qualification.
  • Bring new equipment into the plant according to specifications, time, and budget.
  • Lead problem-solving in manufacturing.
  • Release process documentation, including PFD's, PFMEA's, PCP's, and Control Plans.
  • Provide guidance and estimates for manufacturing processes and costs.
  • Owning manufacturing solutions from initial business case to production.
  • Develop flexible manufacturing systems specifications to meet internal and customer requirements.
  • Lead the equipment sourcing process and machine specifications.
  • Develop manufacturing equipment according to project timing and business case assumptions.
  • Work with build technicians on initial customer and validation samples.
  • Assist in training production operators and maintenance personnel on production equipment.
  • Focusing on quality of products produced in production systems.
  • Technical lead for improving OEE – equipment overall effectiveness and identifying process improvements.
  • Maintaining manufacturing excellence on all equipment.
  • Collaborate with Quality and Application Engineers on current production issues and future customer programs.
  • Identify safety equipment and provide safety training on production processes.
  • Travel to suppliers to monitor development activities.
  • Comply with safety, quality, productivity, hygiene, and environmental prevention standards.
